Map FoodChain ID Allergens
If the FoodChainID Connector app and Allergens app are installed, you can map FoodChain ID allergens to allergen codes, which will automatically assign allergens to items when they are imported from FoodChainID.
In order for allergens to be added or updated, the item cannot have an associated BOM since those items inherit the allergens from their BOM components.
An item's allergen cannot be manually updated if it exists on the item specification and is mapped on the FoodChain ID Connector Setup page.

Prerequisites
- FoodChainID Connector app is installed.
- Allergens app is installed.
- Allergen codes with a Food type have been created.
Map allergens
Choose the
icon, enter FoodChain ID Connector Setup, and then choose the related link.The allergens can also be mapped during assisted setup from the FoodChain ID Connector Setup Wizard window.
On the FoodChain ID Connector Setup page, in the Cross-App Features FastTab, populate the following fields:
This is used to map the FoodChain ID allergens to food allergen codes in the Allergens app.
Field Description Link Allergens App Turn the toggle on to activate the allergens fields.
If the Allergens app is not installed, you will receive an error message with the option to download the app from AppSource.<Allergen> Code Select the allergen code that corresponds to the FoodChain ID allergen.
You can only select allergens with a Food type.
