Set Up Production Date for Lot Algorithms

If the Lot Algorithms app is installed, and the PRODDATE component is added to a lot algorithm, then the production date is automatically populated in the lot number if the Default Output Production Date field is populated on the Item Tracking Code Card page.

If the Default Output Production Date field is not populated, users will be prompted to manually enter the production date when posting output.

1. Choose the icon, enter Item Tracking Codes, and then choose the related link.

2. Select an existing item tracking code, and then choose the Edit action.

3. On the Misc. FastTab, populate the following field:

   Field	Description
   Use Production Dates	Turn on the toggle on.
   Default Output Production Date	Select the default date to assign as the production date when creating tracking for output entries. Blank: The output production date will not be automatically populated. Work Date: The work date will be the default output production date. Current Date: The current date will be the default output production date. Production Order Due Date: The production order due date will be the default output production date. Production Starting Date: The start date from the production order will be the default output production date. Production Ending Date: The end date from the production order will be the default output production date. The field is only active if the Use Production Dates toggle is turned on. If the Lot Algorithms app is installed, and the PRODDATE component is added to an algorithm, then this value is used to automatically populate the production date in the generated lot number.
