Assign Inventory Freshness Code to Items

If you want to apply a freshness requirement to a specific item, you must assign it an inventory freshness code. The assigned code will cause the system to prevent the item from being picked, shipped or received if the inventory freshness requirement is not met.

1. Choose the icon, enter Items, then choose the related link.

2. Open the Item Card page for the item.

3. On the Inventory FastTab, populate the following field:

   Field	Description
   Inventory Freshness Code	Select the code that meets the item’s inventory freshness requirement.
