Work with Sub-Lots

You can use sub-lots to place restrictions on a portion of a specific lot number. When the inventory of an item-lot is not homogeneous, you may want to segregate some part of the inventory and restrict it for further action. You may then remove all restrictions form the sub-lot and combine it with its parent or another sub-lot.

Note

Before a user can access the Inventory Restriction Worksheet page, they must have an entry in the User Setup table, where you can also configure if the user has the ability to add and remove restrictions.
