Assign Inventory Restriction Group to Items

If you want to apply an inventory restriction to a specific item, you must assign it an inventory restriction group.

When an item associated with a restriction group code is received or output, depending on the group setup, the group's restriction codes are automatically applied to the inventory.

1. Choose the icon, enter Items, then choose the related link.

2. Open the Item Card page for the item.

3. On the Inventory FastTab, populate the following field:

   Field	Description
   Inventory Restriction Group Code	Select the inventory restriction group to assign to the item.
