Set Up Quarantine Bins
Even when inventory item has a bin movement restriction, you may still need to move it, such as, for quarantine purposes. Normally, items with this restriction cannot be moved, but you can transfer them to a bin marked as a quarantine bin.
Inventory with a bin movement restriction can be moved to any bin that has the Quarantine option selected. However, once in a quarantine bin, the item cannot be moved to a non-quarantine bin unless the restriction is removed.
Choose the
icon, enter Locations, then choose the related link.Open the Location Card page for the location that contains the quarantine bin.
Select Bins.
On the Bins page, populate the following field:
Field Description Quarantine Select the check box for the bin where quarantined items will be held.
