Set Up Lot Algorithms

Tip

Select the Item Maintenance action to add lot algorithms to multiple items at once. See Assign a lot algorithm to multiple items

1. Choose the icon, enter Lot Algorithm Setup, and then choose the related link.

   Tip

   You can also access this page from the Manual Setup page.

2. Populate the following fields:

   Field	Description
   Lot Algorithm Nos.	Select the number series code used to assign numbers to lot algorithms.

Assisted Setup

Alternatively, you can complete the setup via a wizard. Using the wizard gives you the option of creating a default number series.

1. Choose the icon, enter Assisted Setup, and then choose the related link.

2. In the Get started with apps from NIC Systems Inc group, select Set up lot algorithms to open the Lot Algorithms Setup Wizard.

   If you are asked if you want to run the assisted setup again, select Yes.

3. Select Next as needed and populate the following fields as you go through the wizard:

   Field	Description
   Lot Algorithm Nos.	Select the number series code used to assign numbers to lot algorithms.

4. If applicable, create a default number series by populating the following field:

   Field	Description
   Use Default No. Series	(Optional) Turn the toggle on to create a default number series. Lot algorithms will be numbered as follows: ALG000001, ALG000002, etc.

5. Select Finish.

   Upon completing the wizard, the Lot Algorithms Setup page will be updated with the values you selected in the wizard.
