Consume a Package
You can consume packages. In order to do this, the item being consumed must already be associated with a package and a production order.
If the Production Batching app is installed, you have the option of selecting a batch number when consuming.
From the Home screen, select Packages.
Select Consume Package for Prod. Order.

Select Consume Package for Prod. Order Batch if the Production Batching app is installed.
On the Consume Package screen, populate the following field:
Field Description Scan Package No. Enter the number of the package you want to consume.
The package must be associated with a consumption item that is part of a production order batch.Select Select Order.
Production orders with consumption items from the selected package number are listed.
If the Production Batching app is installed, then production orders containing batches with consumption items from the selected package number are listed.
On the Select Prod. Order No. screen, select the circle for the production order you want and select Confirm.
If applicable, populate the following field:
Field Description Batch No. Enter a production batch number.
This field is only displayed if the Production Batching app is installed, and the production order has batches.
The field is required if at least one component has the Require Batch No. checkbox selected on the Prod. Order Components page (via the Released Production Order page).Select Consume Package.
The package consumption is posted to the production journal.
If a batch number was selected, the same batch number will be applied to all of the components that required a batch number.
