Manage Customers' Sales Restrictions

You can add or remove sales restrictions from multiple customers.

Add sales restrictions to customers

You can add or update a sales restriction for one or more customers.

  1. Choose the icon, enter Add Sales Restriction to Customers, and then choose the related link.

    The page can also be opened by selecting Manage > Customer > Add Sales Restrictions on the Sales Restrictions page, or by selecting Actions > Sales Restrictions > Add Sales Restrictions on the Customers or Customer Card page.

  2. On the Add Sales Restriction to Customers page, populate the following fields:

    Field Description
    Sales Restriction No.

    Select the sales restriction to add to the selected customers.

  3. Under Filter: Customer, enter the values that will filter the customers to which you want to add sales restrictions.

    For example, enter a single customer or a range of customers (for example, CUS0001..CUS0050).

    Note

    If no filters are entered for the customer, then the sales restriction will be added to all of the customers. You will be asked to confirm that you want to add the sales restriction to all customers.

  4. Select OK.

    The Sales Restriction No. field is updated on the Customer Card page for the selected customers. If a customer already has a sales restriction, it will be replaced with the new one.

Remove sales restrictions from customers

You can remove a sales restriction from one or more customers.

  1. Choose the icon, enter Remove Sales Restriction from Customers, and then choose the related link.

    The page can also be opened by selecting Manage > Customer > Remove Sales Restrictions on the Sales Restrictions page, or by selecting Actions > Sales Restrictions > Remove Sales Restrictions on the Customers or Customer Card page.

  2. On the Remove Sales Restriction from Customers page, populate the following fields:

    Field Description
    Sales Restriction No. Select the sales restriction to remove from the selected customers.
  3. Under Filter: Customer, enter the values that will filter the customers to which you want to remove sales restrictions.

    For example, enter a single customer or a range of customers (for example, CUS0001..CUS0050).

    Note

    If no filters are entered for the customer, then the sales restriction will be removed from all of the customers. You will be asked to confirm that you want to remove the sales restriction from all customers.

  4. Select OK.

    The sales restriction will be cleared from the Sales Restriction No. field on the Customer Card page for the selected customers.
