Assign a Serial Shipping Container Code to Pick Documents

You can assign a serial shipping container code (SSCC) to a bundle of items from a warehouse pick or inventory pick document.

Assign an SSCC to a warehouse pick

1. Choose the icon, enter Warehouse Picks, and then choose the related link.

2. On the Warehouse Picks page, open the record to which you want to assign an SSCC.

3. If applicable, you can assign multiple SSCCs to an item by splitting the line.

   1. On the Warehouse Pick page, in the Lines FastTab, for a line with a Place action type, populate the following field:

      Field	Description
      Qty to Handle	Enter the amount to be associated with an SSCC.

   2. Select Functions > Split Line.

      The line is split, and you can assign a different SSCC to each line.

4. In the Lines FastTab, for a line with a Place action type, populate the following field:

   Field	Description
   SSCC	Select the serial shipping container code you want to assign to the item. You cannot select an SSCC with a Closed status. If you want to add items to a closed SSCC, you need to change the SSCC status to Open. See Edit SSCC details for more information.

   Tip

   You can assign a new SSCC to the item.

   1. Select the drop-down arrow in the SSCC field.
   2. Select Select from full list.
   3. On the Select - Serial Shipping Container Codes page, select Home > New.
   4. Select the new number.
   5. Select OK.

5. Select Home > Register Pick.

Assign an SSCC to an inventory pick

1. Choose the icon, enter Inventory Picks, and then choose the related link.

2. On the Inventory Picks page, open the record to which you want to assign an SSCC.

3. If applicable, you can assign multiple SSCCs to an item by splitting the line.

   1. On the Inventory Pick page, in the Lines FastTab, populate the following field:

      Field	Description
      Qty to Handle	Enter the amount to be associated with an SSCC.

   2. Select Functions > Split Line.

      The line is split, and you can assign a different SSCC to each line.

4. In the Lines FastTab, populate the following field:

   Field	Description
   SSCC	Select the serial shipping container code you want to assign to the item. You cannot select an SSCC with a Closed status. If you want to add items to a closed SSCC, you need to change the SSCC status to Open. See Edit SSCC details for more information.

   Tip

   You can assign a new SSCC to the item.

   1. Select the drop-down arrow in the SSCC field.
   2. Select Select from full list.
   3. On the Select - Serial Shipping Container Codes page, select Home > New.
   4. Select the new number.
   5. Select OK.

5. Select Post.
