Create Serial Shipping Container Code Types

You can define the type of packaging material (CHEP, pallet, box, container, etc.) that holds the items associated with the serial shipping container code. In cases where packaging material information must be communicated with customer, you can select an SSCC type when editing an SSCC.

1. Choose the icon, enter SSCC Types, and then choose the related link.

2. On the SSCC Types page, select New.

3. Populate the following fields:

   Field	Description
   Code	Enter a code that represents the packaging materials.
   Description	Enter a description of the packaging materials.
