Post Consumption for a Package

You can consume a package or package-tracked loose inventory.

These steps explain how to enter package information but do not explain how the full consumption process.

Consume a package

1. Choose the icon, enter Consumption Journals, and then choose the related link.

   These steps can also be performed for the consumption lines on the Production Journal page.

2. On the Output Journals page, enter the information needed to post the consumption.

3. Select Home > Calc. Consumption.

4. On the Calc. Consumption page, select the production order number, populate any other necessary information and select OK.

5. Select a line with a package tracked-item.

6. Select Line > Item Tracking Lines.

7. On the Item Tracking Lines page, populate the following field:

   Field	Description
   Package No.	Select the package that contains the item you want to consume. Alternatively, select Home > Select Entries and select an entry with a package number. If a value was entered in the Package Caption field on the Inventory Setup page, then this field label will reflect that value.
