Use Assisted Setup
The Set up customer insights assisted setup will set up the Customer Insights Setup page and Customer Metrics page with default values and gives you the option of creating a job queue.
Choose the icon, enter Assisted Setup, and then choose the related link.
The assisted setup can also be run from the Customer Metrics page if at least one metric is not enabled.
In the Get started with apps from NIC Systems Inc group, select Set up customer insights to open the Customer Insights Setup Wizard.
If you are asked if you want to run the assisted setup again, select Yes.
Select Next.
Populate the following fields:
Field Description Default Duration Turn the toggle on to set the default duration to -6M in the Duration field on the Customer Insights Setup page.
This means that data from the past 6 months, starting from the date the job queue was run, will be analyzed when calculating the insights.Duration Enter how far into the past to search for records to use in the customer score calculation.
You must enter a minus (-) and use one of the following time units: D, WD, W, M, Q, or Y.Default Date Filter Turn the toggle on to set the default date range filter to T-CM-6M..T-CM in the Date Filter field on the Customer Insights Setup page.
This means that the Customer Insights page will show insights for the past 6 months from the current month.Date Filter Enter the default date range filter for the records on the Customer Insights page.
For example, T-6M..T shows insights for the past 6 months from the current day.Default Early Payment Formula Turn the toggle on if 2W (two weeks) will be the default value in the Early Payment Formula field on the Customer Insights Setup page. Early Payment Formula Enter the time period after the invoice posting date that an invoice is considered to be paid early when calculating the EARLY-PAYMENT metric.
For example, 2W means a payment is early if it is fully paid within two weeks of the invoice posting date. If an invoice is posted on November 1, any payment made between November 1 and November 15 (inclusive) will be marked as early.
If an invoice is only partially paid during the early period, it will not be considered an early payment.Default Targets Turn the toggle on to assign default values to the Default Target fields on the Customer Insights Setup page.
Targets are the goals you want customers to achieve. These targets are used along with the customer metrics to calculate a percentage that determine if a customer has a good, average, or poor score when calculating the insights.

Populate the following fields:
Field Description Default Metrics Configuration Turn the toggle on to set the metric values on the Customer Metrics page.
If metrics already exist and are enabled, they will not be overwritten.
Certain apps are required for some of the metrics, and if the app is not installed, those metrics will not be updated. A message will be displayed and you will have the option of downloading the app.Create Job Queue Turn the toggle on to set up the NICCIN Calc. Customer Insights job queue to run weekly.
The customer insights can only be calculated from the job queue.
Tip
The job queue can be set up to run every week from the Customer Insights Setup page.
Select Next.
Select Finish.
