Customer Metric Codes

This is a list of the metric codes for which ranges can be set from the Customer Metrics page.

Targets need to be set up for some metric codes. Default targets can be set on the Customer Insights Setup page and customer targets can be set from the Customer Insights Targets page.

Metric Code Description Target Required
CREDIT-SALES Measures the credits a customer received. A target needs to be set in the Default Credit Sales Target or the Credit Sales Target field. Yes
DELAYED-PAYMENT Measures if invoices were paid after the due date. No
DELAYED-SHIPMENT Measures if shipments were delivered late to the customer. No
DELAYED-SHIPMENT-LINE Measures if shipment lines were delivered late customer. No
EARLY-PAYMENT Measures if invoices were paid early based on the value in the Early Payment Formula field on the Customer Insights Setup page. Payments made within the defined time frame for the early payment formula, starting from the invoice posting date, will be classified as early. No
EARLY-SHIPMENT Measures if shipments were delivered early to the customer. No
EARLY-SHIPMENT-LINE Measures if shipment lines were delivered early to the customer. No
INVOICE-SALES Measures a customer's profits. A target needs to be set in the Default Invoice Sales Target or the Invoice Sales Target field. Yes
ON-TIME-PAYMENT Measures if invoices were paid on or before the due date but after the early payment period. No
OVER-SHIPMENT Measures if shipments had more quantity than ordered. The Over Shipping app needs to be installed use this metric. No
OVER-SHIPMENT-LINE Measures if shipment lines had more quantity than ordered. The Over Shipping app needs to be installed use this metric. No
PROFIT Measures a customer's profits. A target needs to be set in the Default Profit Target or the Profit Target field. Yes
PROFIT-MARGIN Measures a customer's profits. A target needs to be set in the Default Profit % Target or the Profit % Target field. Yes
TOTAL-DISCOUNT Measures the discounts a customer received. A target needs to be set in the Default Discount Target or the Discount Target field. Yes
TOTAL-REBATE Measures the rebates a customer received. A target needs to be set in the Default Rebate Target or the Rebate Target field. The Sales Rebates app needs to be installed use this metric. Yes
TOTAL-REFUND Measures the refunds a customer received. A target needs to be set in the Default Refund Target or the Refund Target field. Yes
TOTAL-SALES Measures a customer's total sales. A target needs to be set in the Default Total Sales Target or the Total Sales Target field. Yes
UNDER-SHIPMENT Measures if shipments had less quantity than ordered. The Backorder Management app needs to be installed use this metric. No
UNDER-SHIPMENT-LINE Measures if shipment lines had less quantity than ordered. The Backorder Management app needs to be installed use this metric. No
