View Expiring Inventory
You can view the inventory that is nearing its expiry date.
Expiring inventory is calculated based on the value in the Expiration Warning field on the Inventory Restriction Setup page.
Expiring inventory can be viewed from the Inventory Restriction Journals page, Lot No. Information List page, Lot No. Information Card. If you want to see expiring inventory from the Lot No. Information List page, you will need to add the field.
View expiring inventory from the Inventory Restriction Journals page
Choose the
icon, enter Inventory Restriction Journals, then choose the related link.On the Inventory Restriction Journals page, populate the following fields:
Field Description Batch Name Select the journal batch, which is a customized layout that the journal lines will follow. Select Home > Suggest Expiring Inventory.
On the Suggest Expiring Inventory page, enter filters if needed.
Select OK.
The lots nearing their expiry date are listed. Expiring inventory is calculated based on the value in the Expiration Warning field on the Inventory Restriction Setup page.
Add the expiring inventory field to the Lot No. Information List page
Choose the
icon, enter Lot No. Information List, then choose the related link.The Expiring Inventory field is hidden by default.
Select the Settings icon > Personalize.
Select + Field.
Drag and drop the Expiring Inventory field to the main page.
Select the Done button.
The Expiring Inventory field will show which lots have inventory nearing its expiry date. Expiring inventory is calculated based on the value in the Expiration Warning field on the Inventory Restriction Setup page.
