Add New Lots to Existing Inventory
You can add quantity to existing inventory, either by adding to an existing lot or by entering a new lot number.
Note
The user must be authorized to add new lot adjustment. On the Mobile Data Collection User Profile page, turn on the Allow New Lot Adjustments toggle for the user.

From the MDC Home page, select Inventory Calculation.
Select Add Inventory.
Enter an item number, and select Calculate Inventory.
If the item has inventory, then the Add Quantity button is displayed
Select Add Quantity, and select Yes to confirm you want to add inventory.
Populate the following fields, selecting Next as needed:
Field Description UoM Select the unit of measure Bin Code Enter a bin number. Quantity (Required) Enter the quantity to add to the existing inventory. Lot No. (Required) Enter the a new or existing lot number. Expiration Date: If the lot does not already exist, select the expiration date.
If the lot number already exists, the expiry date will be the same date as the existing lot.Package No. Enter the package number. Select Post.
A Postive Adjmt record is posted from the Physical Inventory Journals page in Business Central.
