Manage Sales Restrictions Statuses

You can update the status of one or more sales restrictions by sales restriction number or by customer.

Update statuses by sales restriction number

  1. Choose the icon, enter Update Sales Restrictions Status, and then choose the related link.

    The page can also be opened by selecting Manage > Status on the Sales Restrictions page.

  2. On the Update Sales Restrictions Status page, populate the following fields:

    Field Description
    Status

    Select the status to which to update the sales restrictions.

    • Draft: The sales restriction is in draft mode. The record can be updated but will not be applied to sales orders.

    • Active: The sales restriction cannot be updated and will be applied to sales orders. Active sales restrictions will be modified if adding or removing items through an action.

    • Inactive: The sales restriction is no longer being used. The record can be updated but will not be applied to sales orders.

  3. Under Filter: Sales Restriction Header, enter the values that will filter the sales restrictions for which you want to change the status.

    For example, enter a single sales restriction or a range of sales restrictions (for example, SRES0001..SRES0050), or add another filter such as the category, which will changes the status for all sales restrictions with that category.

    Note

    If no filters are entered for the sales restriction, then the status will be updated for all of the sales restrictions. You will be asked to confirm that you want to update the status for all sales restrictions.

  4. Select OK.

    The statuses are updated.

Update statuses by customer

  1. Choose the icon, enter Update Customer Sales Restrictions Status, and then choose the related link.

    The page can also be opened by selecting Actions > Sales Restrictions > Update Statuses on the Customers page.

  2. On the Update Customer Sales Restrictions Status page, populate the following fields:

    Field Description
    Status

    Select the status to which to update the sales restrictions.

    • Draft: The sales restriction is in draft mode. The record can be updated but will not be applied to sales orders.

    • Active: The sales restriction cannot be updated and will be applied to sales orders. Active sales restrictions will be modified if adding or removing items through an action.

    • Inactive: The sales restriction is no longer being used. The record can be updated but will not be applied to sales orders.

  3. Under Filter: Customer, enter the values that will filter the customers for which you want to change the status.

    For example, enter a single customer or a range of customers (for example, CUS0001..CUS0050).

    Note

    If no filters are entered for the customer, then the status will be updated for all of the customers. You will be asked to confirm that you want to update the status for all customers.

  4. Select OK.

    The statuses are updated.
