Pick and Put Away Packages
Pick a package
If your location is set up to require pick processing, you can pick the packages for shipment or consumption.
In instances where the entire contents of a package are not being picked, you will need to break up the package before it can be picked, otherwise you will not be able to register the pick. See Move inventory between packages for more information on how to move inventory to a different package.
As an alternative approach, you have the option to exclude the Strict Package Posting rule for specific bins, such as the shipment bin. This means that a specific package number can be assigned to items in multiple bins simultaneously. This way, there is no requirement to break up the package in advance.
