Add Inventory Restrictions to Quality Inspection Templates
If the Inventory Restrictions app is installed, item restrictions can be added to a quality inspection template. The restriction codes can then be applied to tracked items associated with active or finished quality inspections. The restricted items will be prevented from being used in inbound, outbound, and warehouse processes depending on how the inventory restriction codes were set up.
This feature can be used when you want to prevent items undergoing a quality inspection from being used in transactions or restrict items that have failed an inspection.
Prerequisites
- Inventory Restrictions app is installed.
- Inventory restriction codes are set up. We suggest you create a restriction code that is specifically used for quality inspections.
