Lot Algorithms

If the Lot Algorithms app is installed, the production date set up in Inventory Freshness can be added to a lot algorithm.

When that lot algorithm is applied to an item produced through a production order, the resulting lot number will automatically include the production date.

In addition to the Inventory Freshness setup steps, you will need to set up lot algorithms.
